The upstairs bathroom

This are the huge bleu-stone plates that Eddy and a friend placed into the shower... You can imagine they had a lot of work with it. But the result is plendid ! Just imagine our "old days", this shower can be used as a drive-in shower for a wheel chair...

Wednesday Eddy and me did some teamwork in the morning...

At first I painted the fine details from the wainscot, and then he filled in the rest. And we even didn't quarrel or bothered each other ! Great !!! Next morning I did the second coat of paint. So that is finished also... Saturday I am going to paint the sealing and the walls.

This picture is a little bit "blurry", that's because of my camera. Sometimes I can take a good picture, but often it is "moved" and "blurry". But I cannot wait to let you all know how the work is in progress here.

Today the plumber is here to installate the antique radiators of the bathroom and to give us water on the first and second floor. Before we had to go downstairs, to the groundfloor, to get water. (I told you that we are still "camping" in the house !) Also the electricians are here to do the finishing work for electricity.

This morning I was awake at 5:30, so did our rooster..... That's why I started very early this morning to finish the red wall into the bedroom of Jarno. Yesterday I let him paint the first coating. (A part of the sealing is red for the moment too !!!) There is no one to take pictures from me when I am working on the house. So I have to take some pic's after the work is done. This evening I will finish the little details with the fine pencil, and after that I will take some new photo's. I asked Eddy to put the cupboard already into the bathroom. Now we still can pass by the stairs. When the smith has finished the banisters, we cannot go through with that huge cupboard. Also I have found into my stock a nice piece of material that I can use to make the curtains for the bathroom. (We have to buy from time to time patterns to show our customers when they come for upholstering their chairs and seats. I never throw those samples away, lucky me !)

pffffftttt, ..... It is going fast now. Don't you agree ???
