After a hard winter...

Due the heavy winter we have had (november lots of rain, and december/january a lot of cold and snow), we have a delay with the house. Autch.... normally we had to move in end of february, but the new owners of our old house in Zwijndrecht, proposed to stay untill end of March !!! Good for us, because our new house isn't finished at all.
In the meantime there is done a lot : when the first really, really cold days were finished, the contractor has placed the windows and the outside doors. That was the 19th of January. Than they came to prepare everything for the electricity supply in the building. After that the plumbers came to prepare their things.
And now we are the 2nd of March and the plastering is finished. The stairhouse is fantastic, you can see already what the result is going to be, when the bleustone and the wrought iron will be placed.
So the plumbers and the man who work for the electricity departement came yesterday and today to finish the last things. The radiators for the heating are placed.
In the meantime there was a team who came to finish the back side of the house by filling in the façade.
Eddy worked every free half-hour, timbering the attick with wood. The result is beautiful, finnaly something that is almost finished !
So dear family and friends : please cross your fingers that everything is going as planned now !
